With the need to satisfy Healthy Rivers Plan Change 1, we have had our Farm Environment Plan created by TIAKI - Fonterra FarmSource Sustainable Dairying.
The process took about 2 hours to complete with our TIAKI sustainable dairying advisor.
The plan that was developed was agreed as a sensible and achievable set of objectives. It really helped us assess and identify solutions to some of the challenges we still had on the farm.
Our updated plan with records of completed actions is available here in the new format that uses Good Farming Practices
Since the plan was created in September 2017, we already have works completed that address several of the open actions (L1, L4, E1, W6 and W7) in the plan.
